TW Tennis has taken over the management and operations of Moormead Recreation ground from June 2026. Featuring 4 well maintained tennis courts in a quiet setting in the heart of St Margaret's, this tennis venue is a great place to come for a game or to take part in one of our schduled TW Tennis classes or lessons.
Whats On Offer..
PRIVATE LESSONS
Arrange your own tennis schedule with one of our coaches at Kneller Gardens. You can arrange 121 or shared lessons with a program of coaching designed specifically for your game and we have availability throughout the week.
JUNIOR TENNIS COACHING
TW Tennis offers junior coaching every Sunday from 9am-1pm for players aged 4-16yrs. We run separate groups for different ages to make sure everyone gets a high level of coaching that is relevant their level of play.
ADULT TENNIS COACHING
Adult coaching at Kneller Gardens runs on Sunday afternoons and features a mix of courses and pay and play tennis. We also run evening courses in the peak months for different levels of play and to allow players to meet like minded players on court.
FREE PARKS TENNIS
Meet fellow players or bring the kids to make friends on court. This class is free to play with all equipment provided. Its a great way to get into the sport of tennis and stay active every week!

Moormead Rec is an unlocked park with access points throughout the day from St Margaret's High Street (5 mins walk) and via trains at Twickenham and St Margaret's station (5 mins walk). The park features the following:
- 4 tennis courts
- Children's play area
- Picnic Area
- Free Parking (chargeable 10.30-4.30 Mon-Fri)
- Easy access via public transport
