New TW Tennis Venue at Moormead Rec

TW Tennis are delighted to announce that we have agreed a partnership with Richmond Council to take over management of the tennis courts in Moormead Rec in central St Margaret's.

There are 4 tennis courts which will become a new TW tennis home from June 2026 and will allow TW Tennis to spread its community coaching services further across the borough.

Our aim will be to develop a small program of coaching over the summer months of June and July including launching our program with a special Big Tennis Weekend on 20th & 21st June. We then aim to run weekly classes for adults and juniors throughout the remainder of the summer term and into the school holidays.

This venue now gives TW Tennis a 3rd local park site in partnership with LBRUT and we hope that we can continue to grow the game via our parks and schools programs.

Carlisle Park refurbishment is completed

The new courts at Carlisle Park have been resurfaced and are now back in play for all residents and local players.

The grey tarmac surface on court 1&2 plus courts 5-8 is the first phase of resurfacing the courts. There is also brand new fencing around courts 1-4 which makes the site really look new! The final phase will be to repaint all of the courts and make them look amazing for the new season. This is expected to happen in late March or early April.
