TW Tennis aims to deliver high quality coaching across our community in TW postcodes. Our passion and experience in tennis allows us to help players get into tennis and develop their skills and levels of play whilst making sure that everyone has fun on court and enjoys their time on court at our facilities.

What's On Offer at TW Tennis

  TW Tennis has some great classes for a wide range of junior and adult players - from Tots & Minis all the way up to Teens, Squads and Adults! Our youngest player is 3 years old and our oldest is 90 years old!


We aim to make sure that all of our players receive the right mix of high quality coaching and enjoyment on court. TW Tennis works closely with all our parents and players to understand their pathway of learning that we hope will make players improve their level of play, meet new friends and players on court and eventually play tennis for a long time. Thats the secret to any successful tennis program!

The starting point for many of our youngest players who are stepping foot on court for the first time

All of our junior classes are categorized by the type of ball that players use to practice with in our TW tennis classes. Starting with our youngest players at Red Ball, players move through groups as they get older and their skill level increases. As players progress they play with balls that are quicker and bounce higher, as well as playing in bigger court spaces. Take a look below and find the ball colour that matches your age.

What size court?

 As well as choosing a class to play with the right equipment, TW tennis junior players learn to play on specific court sizes to help build confidence, skills and tactical understanding.


Our youngest players play Red Ball tennis which is played in a smaller space across a normal tennis court. The court size then gets bigger as players do! Its an easy system to follow and allows parents and players to understand how to follow a pathway to improving and enjoying their tennis.

LTA Tennis Express

6 week beginner tennis course for players to learn the basics about playing on court

TWT Adult Improver 

Regular weekly group lessons to learn basic rally skills, positioning and tactics

TWT Adult Advanced

Higher level skills such as learning spins and using power to affect rallies. More advanced physical challenge using full court spaces

TWT Pay & Play

Weekly drills classes to give a range of players a chance to practice key shots in certain areas of the court. Great fun and a good workout!

TW Tennis Coaching Team

Our coaching team for our junior section has a huge amount of experience at helping young players enjoy learning and improving their tennis skills and understanding of the game. From performance advice on how to become a high level county or national junior, to helping children enjoy their first experience of tennis, our team of coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and fun every time they step on court!
